Being a Church School

As a proud Church of England school, our Christian faith is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is valued, encouraged and supported to flourish both academically and personally. Our school motto, "Therefore encourage each other and build one another up," guides our daily life together, helping us to create a caring community where children learn to show kindness, respect and compassion to others.

Our Christian values of Excellence, Forgiveness, Kindness, Courage, Respect and Resilience underpin all aspects of school life. Through collective worship, RE lessons, reflection opportunities and our wider curriculum, children are encouraged to develop a strong sense of morality, empathy and responsibility. We celebrate achievements through our weekly Celebration Worship, where we recognise our Stars of the Week and Values Champions, inspiring children to live out our values each day. As a church school, we work closely with our local church and community, helping pupils to grow in faith, character and confidence as they prepare for the future.
